A little prayer for the evening

Lord Jesus, if there are desires in my flesh that are staining my white garments, I pray that I would be convinced of my sin.

Help me to give bold steps of faith as I journey with you. Lord, you know how my generation is so lukewarm. I pray that you would breath boldness into our fearful souls and that we would face tomorrow with your confidence. Help us to discern your perfect will. Make our paths ever clear.

Lead us not into temptation. The temptation of being self-sufficient, of giving ourselves to the desires of the flesh, of choosing ourselves instead of your kingdom. Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come. Amen.
